- Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi
This woman heads one of the biggest companies in the world Pepsi Co and has been listed 8 times in Forbes magazine top 100 most influential women. She has been in top 10 every time the list came out.
- Naina Lal Kidwai
The first Indian woman to graduate from Harvard Business School and also the first woman to head a foreign bank India. HSBC is one of the biggest bank in the world and Naina Lal Kidwai is the Country Head of HSBC India. she is also frequently listed in Fortune global list of Top Women in Business.
- Ekta Kapoor
This is the woman who is now one of the biggest television and film producers in India and her flagship Balaji Telefilm is one of the leading production houses. A very bold producer she does not hesitate to produce controversial subjects.
- Vinita Bali
She heads one of India’s biggest food companies Britannia Industries where she was eventually appointed Managing Director in 2006. In 2011 Forbes named her on its list of “Asia’s 50 Power Business women.
- Leena Nair
Though this a list which has to have women who are CEO’s or Managing Directors of a company but we are making an exception because right now Leena Nair is the global senior vice-president for leadership and organisation development at Unilever and also first the woman on the Management Committee of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Who knows she could go on to lead this company in the future.
