According to latest reports from Times of India, 26/11 accused Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi has been detained yet again under a new order and was produced in a Pakistan court on Tuesday. When the impending release of Lakhvi was a certainty India had lodged a very strong protest against it and the Pakistani Ambassador Abdul Basit was summoned to the foreign office. After giving clear and tangible evidence against the 26/11 mastermind it is very clear that the evidence presented in the Pakistani court will not hold water and sooner or later this man will be released to renew his terror activities against India.
This whole release and catch strategy is perhaps to confuse and frustrate India since we Prime Minister Narendra Modi is clearly not in a talking mood with his counterpart Nawaz Sharif and all effort to internationalize the Kashmir issue on their part has also failed. So the only option is to play the good terrorists and bad terrorists card by Pakistan and hoping it could bring India to the table to negotiate
