The funeral of black teenager Michael Brown who was gunned down on August 9thwill be buried in his home town of Ferguson according to Agence France Presse. This killing created a national uproar among African American communities across the United States and a debate is raging on how to prevent such future incidents.
Thousands are expected to be part of funeral procession including White House aides and the parents of another black teenager Trayvon Martin, who was killed in Florida. As per Yahoo News Network, the funeral is scheduled 1500 GMT in a Baptist church which can seat around 5000 people.
Brown, a shy guy, was accused of stealing a cigar box when he was shot six times by a white police officer Darren Wilson. That cause a soaring tension in the area and also attacked international attention.
Tension ran very high in the town of Ferguson nearly three weeks and during this period the Governor of the state of Missouri even called the National Guards which had a very negative impact on all the proceedings. Also the President of the United States Barack Obama felt it is important to address the concern of police department who had at their disposal weapons which made them look like soldiers in the army. The gear the police had on them felt as if the situation was under the control of the military.
