A North Korean believed to be a runaway soldier killed four Chinese citizens during a robbery after he crossed the border into China in search of food according to Press Trust of India. The 26-year-old soldier crossed the Tumen River from North Korea into north-eastern China’s Jilin province at about 7.30am on 27 December, South Korea’s Dong-A Ilbo newspaper and Yonhap news agency reported, citing an anonymous source.
North Korea is a country which is right now facing many sections particularly from the United States and also it has been reported by various agencies of how people over there are starving while its leaders lead a very opulent life particularly Kim Jong Un . Even many solders face daily shortages of supply and have difficulty finding food to eat on a daily bases. This could be the reason why they solder may have crossed over into China.
