A policewoman was killed in a shooting in southern Paris on Thursday according to latest from USA today. Already a manhunt is going on to arrest Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi who are still hiding from law enforcement authorities after they shot and killed 12 people who worked for the French satirical weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo.
The officer who has been shot and killed has not been named but with this killing the level of tension in Paris and rest of France has only increased. In the meanwhile there have been several reported attacks in mosques in France which will only create more problems since recently there have been a rise in rightwing political activity and this attack on journalists will give them the ammo to spread their agenda.
Three blank grenades were thrown at the mosque shortly after midnight in the city of Le Mans, west of Paris. Also shots were fired in the direction of a Muslim prayer hall shortly after evening prayers in the Port-la-Nouvelle district near Narbonne in southern France.
