Rabid Homophobic American preacher Scott Lively who is also running for the post of Governor in the state of Boston will now have to face charges of Crimes against Humanity. He has been accused of help propagate the idea of “Kill the Gays Bill” in Uganda. The case was filed against him by the organizations Sexual Minorities of Uganda (SMUG) and the Center for Constitutional Rights filed a lawsuit against Scott Lively back in 2012.
US Federal Judge Michael Ponsor of Springfield, Massachusetts back in August 2013 ruled, persecution of LGBT people is a crime against humanity and he said “Widespread, systematic persecution of LGBTI people constitutes a crime against humanity that unquestionably violates international norms.”In other words Scott Lively is a man who spreads hatred. And now a three judge panel 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston ruled against Lively’s motion to dismiss the complaint according to LGBTQnation.com.
He is also known for advocating the same anti homosexual laws which have been implemented in Russia under President Vladimir Putin. In an interview to NBC news Scott Lively said “Yes, I think I influenced the Russian law.” Now under the Alien Tort Statute (ATS) this man could be brought to justice for spreading hatred at international level.
