MOST DANGEROUS TERROR GROUPS IN INDIA

Over the last 30 years India has suffered terribly at the hands of Terrorist Organizations many of which receive funding from outside. They attack innocent civilians and want to create a rift in society. Some terror groups are faith based and some purely driven by political ideology and then there are these groups who want to break away from the union. Whatever the motive may be, it is clear that in a civilized society there is no place for people who practice the art of mayhem and destruction of human lives.

But all the below mentioned terror organizations have a single denominator, the Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan who support and train them to carry out strikes across India. Across the world various government agencies rate ISI one of the biggest sponsors and supporters of terrorist activities in the world. Here is a look at some of the most dangerous terror groups operating in India right now who have been responsible for the death of thousands of innocent civilians and our ever faithful and brave Security Personals.

  1. Lashkar-E-Taiba

This group has already been banned all over the world, but India has been in the receiving end of their terror activates. Their leader Hafiz Saeed still walks freely in Pakistan spitting venom over India, even after the United States put a 5 Million bounty on his head. Right now this group has changed its name to Jamaat-ud-Dawa which is its political wing and charity organisation. But everyone knows he is responsible for the attack on Indian Parliament and the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. Several umbrella terror groups function under the patronage of Lashkar-E-Taiba, which has sort of now become an employment agency for promoting cross border terrorism.  At present they are not only a threat to India but are spreading there tentacles to other part of the world.

  1. Communist Party of India (Maoist)

This is an ideological based terror group which plans to over through the government with a armed struggle. They believe in the tactics of the famous Chinese leader Mao Zedong the father of China. At present the Maoist are considered the greatest threat to the unity of this country and they are being supported by foreign powers. It has been said that the ISI has been supplying them with weapons and other logistics. No one can deny that Mao Zedong was a great leader but his ideology was based on violence and class struggle which led to the death of millions of Chinese.

  1. Indian  Mujahideen

This terror group is perhaps the first Muslim terrorist group operating within India with all or majority of its operatives being Indian Citizens. It is bad enough to counter threat from foreigners but this indigenous terror group has been responsible for some of the most vicious bomb attacks in Indian cities. These young Indian Muslim men have been motivated because many have felt apathy in society and decided to take arms due to Coercion of religion.

  1. United Liberation Front of Asom

This group was formed in 1979 and its demand is separate state i.e. secede from the union of India. This terror group wants Assam, one of the biggest states in east India to cut ties with India because it thinks that the merger with the Indian Union was wrong and they are involved in an arms struggle to bring socialism. They have safe havens in Bangladesh and Burma which also has borders with China were they plan attacks over Indian Security Personals.

  1. Babbar Khalsa and  Khalistan Commando Force

Although terrorism in Punjab and other parts of North India has ended since the early 1990s and life has been back to normal ever since. But some the reminiscent of the past terror organizations are still quite active. They may not be launching any terror strikes anymore because of the erosion of support, but they are involved in drug smuggling across the border of Pakistan to finance their future plans and this has caused a lot of problems in Punjab which has very high number of drug addicts. You never know under what reason or circumstance they may rise again.
